Feeding guidelines
Weight of Dog | Daily Feed Amount |
Small (3 - 10kg) | 75 - 200g |
Medium (10 - 20kg) | 200 - 400g |
Large (20 - 40kg) | 400 - 600g |
Extra Large (40kg +) | 600g + |
The recommended daily servings shown in the chart are a guide only. How much you feed your dog depends on age, breed and level of activity* and you should use your own judgement to determine the correct amount of food needed to keep your dog in a lean, healthy condition. When changing dog foods, we recommend that you do so gradually over a period of around 5 to 7 days. For young and growing dogs feed little and often and to appetite as they are likely to need more food than a full grown dog. Pregnant bitches will require up to 50% more than their normal intake from mid pregnancy onwards and mothers will need up to four times as much food whilst suckling their puppies. It is important to make sure that your dog always has access to fresh water.
